Garlock is an unincorporated community in Kern County, California. It is located 6.25 miles east-southeast of Saltdale, at an elevation of 2169 feet. A post office operated at Garlock from 1896 to 1904 and from 1923 to 1926. Roberta Ruth lived in Garlock in the 1960s, managing a curio shop. Wikipedia
